    I'm Pete Chapman, and I live in Plymouth, UK with my wife Sue and two cats. Father of three grown ups, and Grandfather to five.<br />

    Unfortunately, I still have to work for a crust, and am involved in the safe transport of valuable road cargo throughout the UK and Europe (posh title is Senior Telematics Technician)<br />

    I'm 61 years of age and have been simming (badly) since the days of the wire mesh simulators, although I only started getting serious about it when FS5 came along. I now have both FS9 and FSX installed and am still simming badly.<br />

    Over time I 've belonged to a number of VA's but, with the exception of a VFR club I currently belong to, have always got fed up with the rules, regulations, ranks and the committment needed to retain membership.<br />
    <br />
    A couple of years ago, I bought a copy of the Misty Fjords programme and was hooked. Next came Tongass and then Glacier Bay. Since then I have been looking for a (for want of a better name) Virtual Airline, with which I could explore this area in a structured way.<br />
    <br />
    Despite signing up with several 'Alaskan' VA's I have been unable to find one which dedicated itself to these areas, and so I decided the best thing to do was to form my own club (note I didn't say Virtual Airline ).<br />

    A quick email to Richard S to ask him to join me and hey !! 'Misty Air' was born.

    Flightsim is my main hobby, and I spend as much time as I can with it. Unfortunately, the shifts I work, mean that I can't fly as much as I'd like to. Fortunately, a fair amount, but by no mens all of the admin side of Misty Air can be done at my desk in work.
